Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and highly sales-oriented Sales Executive to join our prestigious five-star hotel in the heart of Milan. This role is intended to provide essential support to our current sales team, enabling them to focus on developing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will handle administrative tasks, reporting, and PMS data entry while exhibiting a strong passion for sales and a commitment to becoming an outstanding ambassador for our brand.

The Sales Executive will report to the Director of Sales and Marketing (DOSM) and will mainly support the Sales Team to solicit, sell, and confirm new business opportunities, as well as develop and strengthen relationships with retail agencies. Their support will be crucial in ensuring all administrative procedures are followed, reports are completed, and all opportunities across various segments are maximized by implementing proactive tasks.

The Sales Executive will ensure that business is efficiently and promptly handed over for high service delivery. They will assist in leading all day-to-day sales activities, with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that support the achievement of sales objectives.

The ideal candidate must be a motivated and detail-oriented individual, organized, an effective communicator, and able to manage their time efficiently. They should be passionate about continuously learning about their role to represent the hotel not only on property but also abroad during sales activities and events, highlighting why clients should choose the Bvlgari Hotel worldwide and specifically in Milan.

Initially, this position will primarily support the sales team, ensuring a solid foundation to eventually take on the responsibilities of assigned markets and achieve sales goals. As the Sales Executive becomes accountable of proactively soliciting new business, handling sales opportunities and achieving individual sales goals, they will transition to managing their own market segments and serving as the Bvlgari ambassador in those areas. In coordination with the DOSM, they will travel for Sales Calls and Roadshows to enhance revenue performance for their assigned segments in their designated countries.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Required:

2 year experience in the Sales department, demonstrating progressive career growth.

A proven track record of successful sales results and an established client database are highly desired.

Qualifications:

  1. University degree

  2. Fluent Italian mother tongue, English and preferably a second foreign language

  3. Computer knowledge (excel, word, internet)

  4. Opera knowledge

  • Problem-Solving: Proficient in solving customer-related problems efficiently.

Primary Job Functions:

  • Relationship Building: Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers and agencies to enable future bookings.

  • New Request Handling: Efficiently handle new individual requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses.

  • Operational Execution: Execute and support the operational aspects of business bookings, including generating proposals, writing contracts, and customer correspondence.

  • Business Identification: Identify new business opportunities to achieve personal and hotel revenue goals.

  • Accurate Reporting: Provide accurate, complete, and effective reports on assigned markets.

  • Brand Representation: Represent and uphold the image of the Bvlgari brand.

  • Team Collaboration: Ensure teamwork with other hotel department leaders and maintain open communication with corporate office teams.

  • Market Understanding: Understand the overall market, including competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, supply and demand, and know how to sell effectively.

  • Opportunity Closing: Close the best opportunities for the hotel based on market conditions and location needs.

  • Strategy Meetings: Attend sales strategy meetings and provide input on weekly and overall sales strategies.

  • Additional Responsibilities: Take responsibility for other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the sales team.
