AMETEK MOCON is the global leader in the design, development, manufacture, and support of gas measurement and control instruments and services. We are looking for a Sales Engineer/Sales Manager for our PTPS product to develop and implement the sales strategy within the North-West region of France. This role will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and ensuring sales growth within a competitive market.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth directly or through partners in alignment with the overall, regional and Business Unit strategy
- Create and execute account plans to achieve your sales budget
- Identify and prioritize new business opportunities and market segments
- Manage day-to-day relationships with partners including distributors where applicable, including negotiating contracts, terms of agreements and business performance management
- Provide training and support to partners, where applicable, to ensure they are equipped to sell our products effectively
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product management, and customer support to ensure that partners have the resources they need to be successful
- Ensure that orders are completed in accordance with company policy
- Participate, when needed, to support cash collection in SOP
- Provide regular accurate forecasts about bookings and Sales and participate in coordination meetings
- Document activities and keep CRM and other Systems updated
- Undertake frequent in-person customer visits to build relationships and understand customer requirements
EXPERIENCE & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or technically related field is preferred
- Six or more years of increasing responsibilities in technical sales or marketing is desirable
- Ability to read, write and speak English at operational level and confident communicating with colleagues Internationally
- Strong understanding of industrial processes, testing and analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite or comparable
- Salesforce, Salesloft, Epicor, Concur experience advantageous
- Demonstrated success with strategy development, applying strong understanding of go-to-market selling strategy
- Significant experience managing relationships and driving sales growth and profitability
- Capability to analyze financial results, market analytics and new market opportunities
- Demonstrated capabilities of exceeding sales and profitability goals, with general understanding of business financials
