ANGI Energy is seeking a dedicated and proactive Sales Engineer to join our growing team. As a crucial contributor to our commercial operations, the Sales Engineer will play a vital role in shaping our site configuration strategy for hydrogen and natural gas refuelling stations, ensuring we meet customer objectives and excel in configurator development.

ANGI Energy are the current leaders in North America in natural gas refuelling systems with contracts from $1M to $8M and we have recently launched in Europe to sell natural gas and hydrogen fuelling stations. It’s an exciting time to join us!

You’ll be the first Sales Engineer to join the European team and craft a path forward, working closely with the sales managers and the business leader in Europe to supply fuelling solutions that are carbon negative, cleaner than petroleum and support the environment.

You’ll bring your technical/engineering knowledge and your experience in the technical sales process and customize some of the proposal tools to create a better fit for European focus. The role is primarily remote , however, there may be an occasional requirement to attend our customer sites.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you’ll be tasked with:

  • Preparing accurate budgets, quotations, and technical support documentation for both sales processes and engineering review meetings.

  • Providing assistance to sales managers during customer meetings to ensure clear understanding of customer objectives.

  • Utilising and refining software tools to enhance the efficiency of creating Refuelling Station proposals, ensuring they are comprehensive and precise in scope and cost estimates.

  • Swiftly finalising the technical details of orders and communicating these to Project Management, Engineering, and Operations.

  • Recommending resource requirements to improve the quotation process and after-sale customer change management.

  • Conducting site simulations to generate standard and bespoke customer proposals.

What You’ll Need

  • Preferred location UK.Germany also considered for effective collaboration and customer engagement.

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or equivalent in engineering from a four-year college or university is preferred.

  • At least two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong analytical skills to interpret technical documents and financial reports.

  • Excellent presentation skills for communication with top management and stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in mathematical calculations and application of algebra and geometry concepts.

  • Familiarity with various computer software, including Accounting, Database, Design, Internet, Manufacturing, Project Management, Spreadsheet, Word Processing, Microsoft AX, and PowerPoint.
