We are seeking a Sales Director for the Investment Management, Wealth & POEMS workflow responsible for selling into the Wealth Management and Investment Management sector, including Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Insurance, Sovereign Wealth and Sell Side Research. You will be a People Leader and will be driving the success of a diverse sales team who cover Germany, Switzerland, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Liechtenstein, Andorra and Monaco.

Role Summary

This is a first line Sales management role and you will lead the development of the sales strategy for the market and drive team performance in a pro-active manner to ensure that the territory’s sales budget number is achieved.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead and execute the gross sales plan for the (IMES) Investment Management and Execution Solutions and Wealth businesses
  • Drive Hunting Mentality: Pipeline growth through structured activity motions and discipline around sales plan & campaigns
  • Work closely with the local Account Management Leadership team.
  • Consult and contribute on large regional deals
  • People Management – hiring, performance management and development
  • Own and drive market level sales campaigns
  • Establish strong relationships with the IMES and Wealth Customer Strategy and Execution teams and the Proposition teams who create and and build the products.

What are we looking for?

We would like someone to have a strong knowledge of the Asset Management, Wealth Management and Buy Side trading space and have prior experience in leading a sales team to success.

  • A passion for continuous learning and development, both for themselves and for the team they lead
  • People management – hiring, developing and running a sales team
  • Structured methodical and hands-on approach to managing their business and team
  • Strong, communication skills with a ‘flexible professional attitude’
  • Comfortable communicating at all levels internally and externally in an organization
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving and expanding product sales environment
  • Understanding of the product and workflow environment
