We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and dynamic Sales Director to drive and support the transformation and growth of the Carrier Rental Systems. The successful candidate will direct and coordinate the sales activities of the UK business, including sales, pricing, business development and customer management.
The Sales Director UK will be the key interface with the regional business units to ensure standardised execution and delivery against Global Service sales KPI targets.
Responsibilities:
Build and implement a sales growth strategy to acquire new clients and build a high growth service agreement business.
Strong focus on developing a recurring revenue sales model, utilizing connected services
Create and lead a high performing sales function across the UK and build up the existing sales team capability
Ownership of the UK region sales budget, sales plans, and team performance to achieve rapid growth
Implement Account plans for key strategic customers in target segments and key vertical markets as well as introducing territory plans for sales reps.
Develop, maintain, and manage a strong UK sales pipeline to ensure an accurate forecast of orders bookings, revenue, and growth opportunities
Implement new selling practices to maximize sales efficiency and seller productivity
Develop action plans to improve price performance and improving gross margins to contribute towards a sustained improvement in profit
Assist in the preparation, allocation, and management of sales budgets for target achievement
Assist in the deployment, improvement, and implementation of new sales and CRM tools to enhance sales effectiveness
Design sales policies and practices that align with the global service strategy
Requirements
Ideally have experience working in a similar level role in Sales
Knowledge of building services in a commercial environment is preferable
Extensive experience in leading sales teams is essential
Skilled in professional value-based selling processes and techniques in a B2B environment
Strong communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams, work across company departmental heads and field service operations to ensure smooth sales coordination and orders handover
Proven problem-solving skills
Excellent time management skills to achieve sales objectives within set deadlines.
Good computer skills : knowledge of and proficiency in common office applications such as MS Office and ability to navigate SalesForce.com, SAP, and other business applications
Bachelor’s degree / a Master’s degree/post graduate qualification would be advantageous
