Introduction:

Boeing UK is looking for a Sales Director to join our growing team. Day-to-day, said Director will be responsible for outbound sales activities with assigned accounts in General Aviation and growing a book of business with an emphasis on quality and consistency of product and service delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Presents and sells company products and services to current and potential clients predominantly via email and phone communications, as well as on-site customer visits.

  • Leads negotiations and finalizes commitments, ensuring mutual benefit to the customer and the company by interfacing directly with customer decision-makers and influencers.

  • Drives sales and campaign activities to successful completion by integrating multiple aspects of the customers’ needs.

  • Crafts campaign specific strategies, procures resources and secures management commitment to ensure successful execution

  • Establishes and maintains current client and potential client relationships.

  • Develops and maintains action plans and schedules to identify specific targets.

  • Develops and maintains monthly sales forecasts and activity in Salesforce CRM.

  • Develops and maintains sales materials and current product knowledge.

  • Identifies and helps resolve client concerns, working with the Sales Admin and Technical Support team.

  • Prepares a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up and adherence to goals.

  • Leads marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and events.

  • Guides more junior employees regarding capturing and documenting detailed customer knowledge and assists in network development.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in business-to-business sales, preferably in aviation or software related fields.

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop ongoing customer relationships.

  • Passion for selling software, technology products.

  • Ability to persuade and influence others.

  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations.

  • Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience as an Instructor in a Flight School.

  • Prior experience in the Aviation, Flight Planning or as a Professional Pilot.

Work Authorisation: This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom. Boeing will not attempt to obtain Immigration and labour sponsorship for any applicants.

Relocation: This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
