ROLE SUMMARY

At Kohler Mira, developing partnerships with customers, and ensuring that they are as passionate as we are at understanding how we deliver extraordinary showering experiences to drive joint growth is key to our success.

Reporting to our Managing Director, as an integral part of the Kohler Mira Executive team, you will influence the development of the strategic plan to grow the Kohler Mira portfolio of products and services in line with Kohler Co. expectations.

Through your leadership you will develop and motivate the sales team to deliver the strategy. Furthermore, you will engage with senior leaders within the customers to agree joint business plans that will maximise our competitive position, deliver revenue and margin targets and ultimately grow market share.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be an active participant in developing the 5-year strategic plan for Mira and Rada brands.

  • Be accountable for delivery of the ‘go to market’ pillar of the strategic plan for Mira and Rada brands and achieve sales revenue and profit targets written into the financial plan.

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with the senior teams in all key customers and agree joint long term business plans that will drive mutually beneficial growth.

  • Develop the sales organisation to be the best in the industry and motivate the team to deliver improvements in engagement scores.

  • Have an excellent understanding of the channels and all routes to market to ensure the product portfolio is available whenever and wherever the shopper chooses to shop.

  • Ensure Kohler Mira’s product category revenue and profit targets are delivered in line with the financial plan.

  • Ensure Kohler Mira’s new product introductions are successfully launched in the market and deliver volumes that will positively impact vitality (sales of products, less than three years’ old).

  • Have a good understanding of the P&L and be responsible for ensuring the customer pricing and terms strategy is steeped in integrity and delivers the sales revenue and profit required for Kohler Mira.

  • Be accountable for producing a rolling 2-year forecast, with a forward view for a further 3-years in line with the Integrated Business Planning process.

Skills/Requirements

Essential:

  • At least 10 years’ sales experience

  • Must have a proven track record of growing sales through good customer relationships and leading a sales team.

  • Experience with multi-level distribution/sales, complex routes to market and pull-through sales techniques as well as major accounts.

  • Strategic vision to analyse gaps and to develop strategies to achieve sales growth targets.

  • Organisation development capability

  • Adaptable, with a strong learning mindset

  • Excellent interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills

Desirable:

  • Experience of working for a global organisation

  • Marketing experience
