We offer you the basic salary starting from 4356 EUR/gross, but the final compensation will be agreed with regard to your experience. 

The position 

As a Sales Director you will develop and implement sales strategies to promote and sell our products, you will identify potential customers and manage existing customer relationships, conduct sales activities, contact specialists, physicians, pharmacies, and distributors to pursue sales leads, respond to customer enquiries, negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority, and conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets. 

Your other responsibilities include: 

-Coaching and development of members of the sales team.  

-Develops and ensures execution of sales plans, targets and budgets with-in national sales strategy and crafts short and long terms marketing strategy. 

-Support Public affair function through network of contacts and is actively involved in public affairs projects. 

-Ensuring accomplishment of operational business plans within approved budgets, time scales, and corporate policies for business sustainability. 

-Take care of new clients, ensuring their needs are met and fostering long-term relationships. 

Qualifications 

We are looking for a candidate who meets the following qualifications: 

-Fluent in English; Slovak or Czech is an advantage. 

-Candidate must be based in Bratislava, Slovakia. 

-Degree in a scientific field – min MSc.  

-You have 5 years of experience in sales management role within the pharmaceutical industry with a proven record of achievements. 

-Experience in cardiology, diabetes or obesity is an advantage. 

-Proven leadership and direct managerial experience with strong team coaching abilities. You are able to inspire and motivate your team. 

-Experience in a multi-national, matrix-structured environment with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 

-You have strong business drive with customer centricity, business acumen and are eager to drive commercial impact and growth, with the ultimate goal to improve patient’s lives. 

-You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to build sustainable relationships internally and externally. 

We are looking for person with an entrepreneurial mindset, who is independent and self-confident with a strong network, who is comfortable talking to cardiologists and other medical professionals.  You should also be proactive and willing to go on the field, if needed, passionate about partnering with customers and understanding their needs. As a strong team player, you should be able to come into the office 2-3 times a week. 

About the department  

You will join our Diabetes business unit, a dynamic team of 12 people, based all across Slovakia. Our department is dedicated to promoting and selling Novo Nordisk’s innovative products to healthcare professionals and institutions.
