As a Sales Business Manager within Trauma at Stryker, your responsibilities will include directly selling the Trauma products, optimising customer service and supporting the acquisition of new customers. Additional responsibilities also include training and supporting regional sales team members to sell products within the region.

Ideally, you will live in a location situated on or close to this territory.

Key Activities & Accountabilities

  • To achieve sales results in line with the annual sales target

  • Supporting & strategically aligning the sales team to sell & demonstrate medical equipment within the theatre and clinical environment

  • Conducting trials and evaluations of products in theatre and clinical environment to drive sales

  • Customer service & acquisition of new customers

  • Independently construct and implement an effective business plan

  • Coaching the team

  • Planning, executing and monitoring all measures necessary to help achieve target. This encompasses in particular:

  • Supporting the selection, development & engagement of the assigned sales team

  • Supporting the control of all resources and materials in their related sales area

  • Customer care for physicians, surgical theatre staff, hospital administration & procurement with the goal of achieving qualitative and sales-oriented consultation

  • Organising and conducting training workshops with participation from surgical & theatre staff

  • Conducting price negotiations and contractual preparation within the limits of in-house guidelines, up to contract conclusion

What you need

  • Successful sales experience with a demonstrable track record of success within medical devices sales

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, adept in building relationships

  • Commercial skills in leading a profit centre

  • Strategic with experience of implementing new initiatives

  • Experience in team leadership preferable

  • Training in a medical, scientific, technical career or degree in sciences/medical/technology/engineering

  • Workshop/demonstration skills/training skills

  • A full, valid UK drivers license
