Role: Sales Associate

The Impact:

This is an exciting opportunity to support the EMEA Sales effort across new business and revenue retention within the DVA (Data, Valuations, Analytics) division of Market Intelligence. Successful team members will develop critical skills and competencies that will help them progress their careers within the DVA sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Help manage our prospecting efforts on a wide spectrum, including managing marketing leads, new business campaigns, customer upgrade campaigns etc.

  • Managing sales tasks within our CRM system

  • Monitoring and keeping track of renewal book, setting a strategy on how to approach individual renewals

  • Analyze and ensure price increases on renewals are captured

  • Help sales team with booking meetings, preparing materials, presenting at meetings

  • Revise and manage renewal list and price increases

  • Analyze territories and existing accounts to identify cross-sell opportunities

The role is also a sales associate preparation role and allows the candidate to

  • Broaden cross asset knowledge across the markets

  • Broaden knowledge about finance industry

  • Learn our product’s selling features and narratives that put us in a position to win business

  • Learn vital sales skills: generate leads, cold calling, pitching, negotiations, and contracting skills

  • Organizational skills are incredibly important in this role and in a sales role in general

  • The ability to network and build relationships

  • Basic understanding of financial markets, instruments, financial math is a benefit

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Experience with platforms such as Salesforce or Outreach.io is an asset

  • Curious about the financial services industry and a willingness to learn

  • Enjoys the challenge of unfamiliar tasks and problem solving

  • Committed to personal and professional development

  • Fluent in English

  • European languages preferred (German, Italian, French or Spanish)

  • Experience from previous sales positions is an asset
