Our client is a company focusing on the development, production and distribution of diagnostic products.They provide reliable and affordable laboratory results to physicians and patients around the world.With the HQ based in Belgium, they develop, manufacture and market clinical diagnostic products in the field of endocrinology and infectious diseases.In order to sustain their growth globally, they are actively looking for a passionate and experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to join their team.As a successful Sales & Marketing Manager, – Medtech – Diagnostics -, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the sales and marketing strategy to achieve and exceed revenue and growth targets.
  • Identify new market trends and guide the Sales team toward new leads.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key clients and strategic partners, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Identify growth opportunities and new market niches, and lead the team’s efforts to capture these opportunities.
  • Develop product launch plans based on thorough market analysis and customer insights.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, Marketing, Production) to align product offerings with market needs.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team by setting clear objectives and monitoring performance.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate the Marketing, Instrument, and Product Management teams.
  • Actively participate in conferences and Congress to promote our products and identify partnership opportunities.
  • Coordinate internal projects such as the implementation of CRM tools, the company’s referencing (e.g. on Google), the development of the product-related marketing strategy,…

As the successful Sales & Marketing Manager, – Medtech – Diagnostics -, you will have the following requirements:

  • Master’s degree in a commercial or scientific field.
  • Proven experience of over 7 years in international sales of medical devices, preferably in the in vitro diagnostics (IVD) field.
  • Excellent understanding of the medical device market dynamics, including regulations, emerging technologies, and competitive trends.
  • Proven expertise in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in managing an international sales team.
  • Autonomy and initiative, with a results-oriented approach.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to close complex sales.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and marketing project management techniques.
  • Experience in marketing management.
  • Language skills: Fluent English is essential. Knowledge of French and/or Dutch is an asset.
