In 1999, the luxury goods division of the Kering Group acquired Yves Saint Laurent and, under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since April 2016, continues to position the house at the summit of the luxury universe.Today, Saint Laurent collections include women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties and eyewear.Job DescriptionROLEWe are looking for a Store Director for a fixed term mission to join our store in Amsterdam De Bijenkorf.As Store Director, you will actively contribute to the development of the shop’s turnover.MISSIONSManage your teamSupervise and lead the teamLead, support, build loyalty, motivate and develop talentMonitor individual and collective results, and take corrective action where necessaryCreate and maintain a harmonious and motivating working environmentSupport your customers with the help of your teamProvide a unique experience for a demanding clientele and develop customer loyalty;Develop customer relations initiatives and ensure that they are implemented by the team.Ensure that the customer experience is consistent within the Saint Laurent universeDevelop your businessMonitor relevant KPIs, analyse them and take corrective action where necessaryReport to regional management on a monthly basis
Leadership and representationAct as an ambassador and ensure the impeccable image of the boutiqueContribute to the team’s understanding of the strategic direction and ensure that the resulting objectives are properly implementedEnsure that all procedures comply with safety standards, internal requirements and legal provisions, and manage stock organisation, human resources and sustainable development objectivesChallenge current procedures with a view to continuous improvement.PROFILESignificant experience in shop managementManagerial approach including a strong interest in team developmentKnowledge of the local marketAdaptability, open-mindedness, natural curiosity, genuine and creative attitudeGood interpersonal skills, ability to listen and team spiritSeeking solutions and maintaining a positive attitude in all circumstancesDutch and English speakerSaint Laurent is committed to building a diverse workforce.
