Your new role

As a Safety Submission Associate at Novo Nordisk, you will:

-Work in the Global Safety database according to written procedures and collaborate closely with colleagues in Denmark and India.
-Ensure that Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) are made available daily for Health Authorities and affiliates worldwide according to regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
-Interact with stakeholders in Safety Operations, affiliates, and other departments regarding submission-related matters, including addressing submission failures.
-Contribute to the development and maintenance of processes concerning the submission of ICSRs.
-Actively identify areas for improvement and drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and compliance.
 

Your new department

The Safety Operations (SO) Centre of Expertise & Submission is part of Safety Operations within Global Patient Safety. The Submission team ensures timely and compliant submission of individual safety cases to health authorities, affiliates, and partners worldwide. The team comprises eight highly engaged Submission experts based in Denmark and India. In addition to the submission team, the department includes SO Specialists who focus on training, quality and process improvements across single-case handling. We foster a collaborative and supportive environment where every contribution is valued, and we work together to protect patient-safety.

We are currently in the transition phase for transition to Veeva Safety targeted for 2026.

Your skills and qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

-An academic degree in life science or other relevant fields with knowledge of medicinal terminology.
-Proficiency in IT systems, including databases and web solutions.
-Experience within the area of pharmacovigilance.
-Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements and safety database systems is an advantage.
-A structured approach with a strong sense of detail and a high-quality mindset.
-Service-minded attitude and ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and short deadlines.
-Proficiency in English and ability to work across cultures and skill types and having a knowledge sharing mindset.
