Job Description

Our thriving Environmental team is thrilled to announce a captivating opportunity for a Safety Coordinator to be based in our Leuven or Ghent office.

Within the role of Safety Coordinator you will be involved in a wide variety of projects for mainly international private sector clients based in BeNeLux and abroad. Duties and key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Construction Safety Programs (Veiligheidscoördinator ontwerp en uitvoering niv A/B)

• HSSE Assurance on client-specific programs

• Operational H&S management

• Supporting and achieving safety objectives through orienting, training and coaching of AECOM staff

• Implementing safety, quality and customer focus into your day-to-day activities

• Participate in safety initiatives

• Ensuring the safety of yourself and your colleagues

• Follow up on medium to large construction projects

Qualifications

• Certified Safety Coordinator level A or B

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Safety Coordinator

• Strong technical, organizational, communication and negotiation skills

• Fluent in Dutch and English, French is an advantage
