Job Description: 3GPP Standards Expert (SA3, SA5, SA6)

Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Standards Experts in the areas of 5G/6G network architecture, mission-critical applications, and network/service management to join our international, multicultural team. In these roles, you will generate and evaluate innovative ideas for standards that shape the future of mobile communication and security.

Roles and Responsibilities:

SA3 Standards Expert:

Act as a security expert in mobile communication systems.
Participate in standardization bodies such as 3GPP SA3.
Leverage a strong background in security techniques relevant to mobile system architecture.
Communicate with operators and standards organizations and ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations.
Represent the organization at 3GPP SA3 meetings and identify opportunities in the 5G certification industry.
SA5 Standards Expert:

Serve as a network and service management expert.
Engage with standardization bodies, including 3GPP SA5, TMF, NGMN, GSMA, and ETSI.
Utilize expertise in autonomous networks and end-to-end management.
Manage external communications with operators and represent the organization at 3GPP SA5 meetings.
Identify potential opportunities and challenges in the 5G industry.
SA6 Standards Expert:

Focus on mission-critical applications for enterprise networks, including public safety and vertical industries.
Drive technology advancement in vertical industry applications.
Develop intellectual property and engage in industry cooperation with universities and forums.
Lead standardization activities in 3GPP and related vertical standards.
Qualifications and Work Experience Requirements:

Master’s or higher degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
At least 10 years of experience in the telecommunications and security industry.
Strong knowledge of mobile system trends, security standards in 4G/5G, and management-related standards.
Extensive expertise in managing core network and wireless communication systems.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Willingness to travel for meetings, forums, and workshops with customers.
