Salary: £19,500 – £26,400A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Russell Group Primary Teaching Assistant to join a prestigious primary school in Wandsworth. You will be supporting teachers in the delivery of engaging and enriching lessons, providing 1:1 and group support for pupils, and helping to create a positive and stimulating learning environment.Russell Group Primary Teaching Assistant – the school:

Russell Group Primary Teaching Assistant – responsibilities:

• Provide support to the class teacher during lessons and activities
• Assist in the development and implementation of tailored learning plans for individual students
• Help maintain a positive classroom environment conducive to learning
• Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN) or other learning barriers
• Supervise small groups of students to reinforce learning concepts and improve skills
• Assist with the preparation of learning resources and classroom materials
• Work closely with other members of the school team to ensure high standards of teaching and learning
• Help with administrative tasks, such as recording pupil progress and preparing displays

Russell Group Primary Teaching Assistant – requirements:

• 2:1 or above from a Russell Group university (academic subjects preferred)
• Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of the primary curriculum
• Patient, empathetic, and able to build positive relationships with children and staff
• Excellent communication skills
• Committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in education
• Previous experience working with young people
• Willingness to obtain a DBS
