We are seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails developer to join our customers, a leading company in the creation of friendly workplaces and comprehensive facilities management.Project information:

• Remote work: 100% Remote
• Budget: b2b 140 – 160 PLN/net/h + VAT
• Contract length: Indefinite
• Project language: English
• Start date: ASAP/ August 2024

Project scope:

• Develop, test, and deploy new features in Ruby-based applications
• Maintain and optimize existing applications, identifying and fixing issues
• Collaborate with the team to define and implement project requirements
• Conduct code reviews and ensure high code quality
• Create technical documentation and participate in team meetings
• Implement best practices for application security and scalability
• Monitor and optimize application performance

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience as a Ruby Developer
• Proficient in Ruby and the Ruby on Rails framework
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git
• Ability to write unit and integration tests
• Familiarity with software development best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment
• English: B2

Nice to have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure).
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
• Working knowledge of Linux OS
