The RTW Knitwear & Jersey Product Development Specialist is part of the RTW Business Unit team based at the Novara office. The resource will report to the “RTW Knitwear Jersey & Denim Product Manager” and will be responsible for the proper implementation of the prototype and sample making process in accordance with the instructions received from the Design Team based in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Decoding of the sketches received by the Design Team for the Denim-Jersey and Knit categories.
- Responsible for print launches for the collection.
- Prepare and upload prototype launches in Stealth and PLM.
- Compilation of prototype cards in PLM for the Denim-Jersey and Knit categories.
- Compilation and preparation of Di.ba for prototypes in Denim-Jersey and Knit categories.
- Support the Production Team by providing compositions, customs categories and preferred origins.
- Monitor and update the product development budget for the Denim-Jersey and Knit categories.
- Support the Industrialisation Team during production fittings by providing information necessary for the launch of the collection.
Your Talent:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in knitwear and jersey product development.
- Strong knowledge of yarns, knitting techniques, and jersey fabrics.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Good knowledge English (spoken and written).
