.As the RTR Supervisor, you will manage the Finance Operations team for the EMEA region, including two direct reports. You will act as the crucial link between local business units, functional teams, and the EMEA RAC in Mumbai, driving seamless communication and operational efficiency.At Nouryon, our global team of Changemakers takes positive action every day, to reach higher collectively and individually. Does that sound like you?About the jobAs an RTR Supervisor, you’ll drive accounting excellence by collaborating with the EMEA Regional Accounting Centers (RAC) to implement global improvements. You’ll manage key accounting activities, including audits, tax filings, and IFRS reporting, ensuring smooth period-end closings and accurate financial reporting. Additionally, you’ll oversee and coordinate the work of third-party service providers like PWC and RSM while signing off on statutory and legal entity statements.In your future role as RTR Supervisor, you will

  • Timely, correct balance sheets and P&L statements.
  • Manage closing processes in the region.
  • Ensure correct treatment and consult with IFRS center.
  • Manage Statutory Filings and Audits.
  • Manage and standardize processes.
  • Follow Global Standard Process definitions (GPD).
  • Contribute and participate in the finance governance framework of Specialty Chemicals.
  • Liaise with local authorities and auditors.
  • Oversee SLAs and financial charges with GBS.
  • Collaboration with RAC managers in other regions.
  • Collaborate with global CIM team.
  • Manage coordination with PWC, RSM, and PinkVision.
  • Primary contact for regional accounting issues.
  • Deliver monthly information to global accounting.

We believe you bring

  • Master’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • At least 10 years of relevant and in- depth work experience in accounting and reporting, and capable of analyzing complex processes and issues.
  • Fluent in English language, Dutch is a plus.
  • Experienced in using Microsoft Office (especially excel).
  • Experience with tax compliance solutions and technology (Vertex) is a plus.
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS, In Control & Compliance Framework.

Great if you have

  • Hands-on mentality related to financial systems (SAP), operational processes and eager to learn.
  • Preferably work-experience with RPA solutions / AI solutions.
  • Ability to work with different cultures and different management styles, and to influence people / teams from remote location.
  • Good analytical skills, proactive service attitude, flexible, ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • A team player.
  • Willingness to travel (5%)
  • Results-oriented with a focus on service delivery.
  • Able to work with deadlines and pressure, e.g., during month closing.
