I am looking for an in-room dining manager , who will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of food and beverage services to guests within their rooms in the hotel.
This role involves ensuring timely and accurate delivery of orders, maintaining high standards of service, managing the staff and operations of the in-room dining department.
Operations Management
* Oversee the daily operations of the in-room dining department.
* Ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages to guest rooms.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of in-room dining areas and equipment.
Staff Management
* Recruit, train, and supervise in-room dining staff, including servers and order-takers.
* Schedule staff shifts and manage payroll.
* Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development.
Customer Service
* Ensure high-quality customer service and satisfaction.
* Handle customer complaints and feedback.
* Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures.
Menu Management
* Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and update the in-room dining menu.
* Ensure menus are in line with current trends and customer preferences.
* Monitor food quality and presentation.
Financial Management
* Prepare and manage the in-room dining budget.
* Monitor financial performance, including revenue, costs, and profitability.
* Implement cost-control measures and strategies to increase profitability.
Inventory Management
* Oversee inventory levels and ensure adequate supply of food and beverages.
* Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts.
* Conduct regular inventory audits and manage stock rotation.
Compliance and Safety
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Implement and monitor food safety and hygiene standards.
* Conduct regular training on health and safety protocols.
Marketing and Promotions
* Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote in-room dining services.
* Plan and oversee special events and promotions.
* Manage in-room dining promotional materials and activities.
Qualifications
* Education: A degree in hospitality management, business administration, culinary arts, or a related field is preferred.
* Experience: Several years of experience in food and beverage management or a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, particularly in room service or in-room dining operations in a Luxury hotel setting is highly regarded.
