Will you help shape the future of intralogistics?Job DescriptionYou will be the single point of contact for implementation of product modifications and the start-up of new products on the assembly line. For this you will have close contact on the one hand with the product-managers and our R&D-department as well with production and our field-technicians. Together with these departments you go through the roadmap of our products and prepare the necessary documentation to translate these adjustments/new products into an efficient assembly process in production. This by putting forward the different routings, work-flows and lay-out of the workstations. You are responsible for optimizing the assembly processes and make improvements to prevent technical problems and to continuously improve the quality. This by documenting the production processes the issues encountered on-site and relaying these when necessary towards the R&D-department. You are hands-on and technically savvy and enjoy spending time on the shop floor.

  • Responsible for motivating and ensuring everyone works according to the QSHE standards to ensure that all work is done in a safe, efficient, and qualitative way.
  • Complies with the goals of Lean and continuous improvements within the company.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all executed activities and processes are following QSHE standards, policies, instructions, and local legislation.
  • Introduction on product changes and new methods
  • Introduction of new products and the appropriate methodology
  • Adapting material lists in function of the proposed assembly process
  • Documenting the repairs for future improvements
  • Introducing and implementing continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field
  • Affinity with electrical and mechanical components
  • Experience with starting up production lines in an assembly environment
  • You are familiar with the principles of Lean Management
  • You like to research new developments within production technology
  • You have a sense of initiative, are stress-resistant and dynamic
  • You have a handson attitude
  • Good knowledge of English and Dutch
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of 3D design is a plus
