About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity within the newly-established Global Regulatory Change, Framework & Oversight (GRCFO) team, part of the enterprise Global Regulatory Affairs Office. The GRCFO oversees the enterprise management and delivery of regulatory change, providing governance and oversight of the frameworks that enable understanding of regulatory obligations, mitigation of regulatory risks, and compliance with applicable regulations. The GRCFO design supports this mandate across three key pillars: i) Risk & Regulatory Frameworks, ii) Regulatory Change Portfolio, iii) Assurance Hub. This role sits within the Risk & Regulatory Frameworks pillar – a high-functioning team focused on framework oversight, both functionally and jurisdictionally, for cross-firm risk and regulatory programs, measuring the effectiveness of these programs through the lenses of anticipation and prevention.
The Risk & Regulatory Programs Practice Lead will manage the oversight of the BAU risk and regulatory programs as well as the centers of expertise needed to administer controls at the enterprise level. This role will report to the Head of Risk & Regulatory Frameworks. This role will primarily own and oversee the components of the Regulatory Change Framework (RCF), from regulatory intake through to rules inventory update and will liaise with the other pillars as needed to support GRCFO strategy.
The Risk & Regulatory Programs Practice Lead will also manage the portfolio of regulations at an enterprise level and provide status and reporting as needed to functional and jurisdictional stakeholders across the Firm to promote transparency and highlight areas of emerging regulatory risk. The Risk & Regulatory Programs Practice Lead will manage the team of Technical Regulatory Specialists who are responsible for interpretation of domain-specific regulations and RCF-related assurance activities.
The ideal candidate will have a well-practiced understanding of regulatory frameworks, particularly in the compliance space, a track record of developing and leading high-performing teams, and working with diverse, cross-functional teams and facilitating reporting needs from stakeholders across the organization.
