Job Title Risk Control Partner FEC FLRJob DescriptionImagine contributing to the battle against Financial Economic Crime (FEC) worldwide and Rabobank’s licence to operate by continuous improving the quality and consistency of the Risk & Control Activities of the FEC domain. As Risk Control Partner (RCP) of the department Center of Expertise & Reporting (CoE) you are the Subject Matter Expert in the FEC domain on various operational risks and the risk control framework. Together with your colleagues of First Line operational Risk (FLR) you help to build a strong risk culture globally.You and your jobAs Risk Control Partner you are responsible for ensuring FEC continuously improves its Risk Management Framework globally.You facilitate the incorporation of all aspects of the Risk Management Framework (including Compliance) into the day-to-day activities of the FEC departments.As RCP you act as a change agent for risk management within the first line of responsibility. You ensure that the way in which FEC manages its risks globally is both efficient and effective while acting within its risk appetite. As such, your role is a strong position of influence and responsibility in the adoption of a strong risk culture globally.The FEC Domain fulfils an important role in safeguarding all Rabobank Group’s customers, the bank and society by detecting and preventing financial and economic crime. Close co-operation with other domains is key in achieving a sound FEC risk management cycle.Practical Examples· You will drive the continuous improvement and provide management with overall insights into risk developments, control effectiveness and provide expertise and support on risk related activities.· You are the point of contact for questions from other RCP and Risk Management teams, You will support the business on risk related activities.· Executing Control Monitoring Plan by: checking controls, set up test reports and proposals for findings/improvements.· You will do this in cooperation with first and second line risk experts and other stakeholders.· You will support the implementation and monitoring of risk and control activities.· You pro-actively work on realizing an optimal cooperation in the chain and you also contribute to a great place to be, our FLR CoE team. A place where our employees feel at home, so they can grow professionally as well as personally, are connected and inspired.Facts & Figures· 36 hours per week· 43,822 Rabobank colleagues around the worldYour top 5 responsibilities· Conduct control testing on all day-to-day activities (‘Run the Bank’) through the Control Monitoring Program.· Building and maintaining subject matter expertise on the various operational (library) risks and the risk control framework.· Being point of contact for questions from the RCP , Risk Management teams and alignment with second line of risk policy and (library) risk owners.· Checking the implementation of relevant changes in policy, procedures, library risks, risk control framework – usually with/via the RCP – to the FEC departments globally.· Support in executing Risk & Control Activities of generic/central themes.Together we achieve more than aloneWe believe in the power of difference. In the Netherlands we work to create a country in which people are happy with how they live, work and do business.You and your talent· A completed HBO(+) bachelor in a relevant field like economic or business studies;· Preferably, you have 2+ years of relevant work experience with risk management;· Experience with stakeholder management, organizational sensitivity, integrity and reporting to management;· Preferably, you have a network or background within Rabobank;· Fluent in Dutch and English, verbal and written (Native English speaking/writing is a plus);· Social skills are above average, connect easily and can formulate clearly and to the point;· Above all; you have a positive presence, and you are eager and a fast learner and team player.This is what we offer you· Up to € 5.300 gross per month (salary scale 08 depending on experience);· Thirteenth month’s salary and 8% holiday allowance.· An extra budget of 10% of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out.· We support hybrid working, generally working in the office 1-2 days a week.This is a selection of the terms of employment for a Risk Control Partner based on a 36-hour working week.
