About Bristol City Leap
Bristol City Leap is an innovative partnership between Bristol City Council and Ameresco which will accelerate green energy investment in Bristol and help towards decarbonising the whole city.
Over the next five years, Bristol City Leap will invest nearly £500 million into low carbon energy infrastructure, such as solar, wind, heat networks, heat pumps and energy efficiency measures – all of which will help Bristol meet its carbon reduction targets of becoming carbon neutral by 2030.

Role description
The Retrofit Co-ordinator role will contribute to home decarbonisation as the role primarily is designed to identify, assess, and manage the technical and process risks commonly associated with domestic retrofit projects. This includes overseeing the design, specification and subsequent post-installation monitoring and evaluation of energy efficiency measures in accordance with PAS 2035. Retrofit Coordinators are required to categorise domestic retrofit projects in low, medium or high-risk dependent upon what measures are proposed, the building’s construction design (including existing materials), and if the building or location has any historical significance.
The duties of a Retrofit Coordinator include:

Retrofit coordination of multiple concurrent PAS 2035 projects

Liaising with Retrofit Assessors, Installers and their customers as necessary

Liaising with colleagues to resolve issues and identify system/process improvements
-
Responding to communication from customers in a timely manner and in a manner that builds customer loyalty and company reputation

Visit site to review projects and advise installers on PAS compliance
-
Sign off that the project complies with PAS 2035 and lodge via TrustMark data warehouse.
Job Qualification:
Key Requirements
To be successful in this role the key competencies required include:

Qualified Retrofit Coordinator (Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit coordination and Risk Management)

Knowledge and experience of sustainable building materials and techniques
-
Knowledge of using energy modelling software.

Should possess good analytical and presentation skills- written and verbal- and fluency in use of MSOffice office suite including Project (or equivalent)
-
Good inter-personal skills, as the role will require communicating with a range of stakeholders
-
Effective organisational skills with the ability to prioritise own workload to meet deadlines
-
Able to make decisions effectively, using either own knowledge or available data.

You will need to be a self-starter, motivated and driven to succeed with excellent communication skills

You will be seeking a fast-paced environment where you will be part of a dynamic team
Experience and Education Required

Must be able to demonstrate prior experience and competence in Retrofit Coordinator and/or Project management role

Successful management of multiple concurrent project in the Domestic Energy Efficiency Retrofit mark.

A member of a TrustMark-approved Retrofit Coordinator Scheme.
