Restaurant and Bar Manager – Amsterdam

Salary: A‚¬3600 gross per month + bonus and benefits.

Location : Amsterdam – Central location

Reporting : Food and Beverage Manager

We are looking for a passionate and talented Restaurant Manager to join and lead the team of this premium restaurant offering fresh and seasonal Dutch favourite cuisine.

This restaurant is part of an International Branded Hotel in the heart of the City.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversees and directs all aspects of the operation of the restaurant, under the guidance and supervision of the Food and Beverage Manager

* Lead and manage the team in all aspects of the department and ensure service standards are followed (including private event and room service operation)
* Develop the activity of the restaurant operations
* Handle guest concerns and react quickly and professionally
* Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
* To assist in the recruitment and training of F&B Colleagues
* Balance operational, administrative and commercial needs
* Conduct regularly scheduled departmental meetings
* Maximize revenues by communicating regularly with the Food and Beverage teams to implement agreed upon strategies, practices and promotions
* Have full knowledge of all Outlet menus
* Manage the departmental budget
* Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
* Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

* An F&B specialist with a proven track record in Food and Beverage within their respected industry.
* At least 4 years’ experience at F&B assistant management level
* Degree or Diploma in Catering or Hotel and Tourism Management

LANGUAGES

* Fluent in English and Dutch
