Offer DescriptionThe person recruited will be tasked with carrying out research to assess the environmental fate and photodegradation of water-soluble polymers derived from acrylamide. He/she will be under the supervision of Sandrine Therias (DR CNRS) and Gilles Mailhot (DR CNRS), both members of the ICCF.– Carrying out experiments to develop the research project (main task)
– Monthly presentation of results in the form of a slide show to members of the ICCF and the SNF company.
– Drafting of quarterly written reports.
– Drafting of one or two scientific publications.The recruited person will work at the Institut de Chimie de Clermont-Ferrand (ICCF), which is a joint research unit between the Université Clermont Auvergne and the CNRS. More specifically, she will be assigned to the Institute’s “Photochemistry” team. The ICCF is a laboratory with around 120 permanent staff (teacher-researchers, researchers, engineers, technicians and administrative staff) and around a hundred PhD students, post-docs and staff on fixed-term contracts. It is an institute that brings together all the different skills in the various fields of chemistry. Most of the work will be carried out on the Cézeaux university campus in Aubière within the photochemistry team located in the Chimie 6 building.
