  • Performing teaching duties for full-time and part-time students according to the schedule (teaching on selected weekdays and selected weekends);
  • Performing organisational tasks related to teaching (creating syllabuses, archiving student work, issuing marks, meeting with students in the form of consultations/duty hours);
  • Willingness to perform assigned functions and organisational tasks in the Faculty;
  • Involvement in organisational work at the Faculty of Psychology in Warsaw;
  • Participation in meetings of the Department of Social Psychology and meetings of the Practical Social Psychology specialisation team;
  • Taking care of the development of teaching competences by participating in internal trainings organised by both the department and the university, e.g. during the Week of Teaching Competences;
  • Supervising student placements in social psychology;
  • Publication of scientific and popular science articles.

RequirementsResearch Field Psychological sciences » Psychology Education Level Master Degree or equivalentSkills/Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in psychology;
  • At least one year of teaching experience (teaching and preparing teaching materials);
  • Participation in national and international scientific conferences
  • Advanced knowledge of English (at least B2 level)
  • Fluency in the Polish language.
  • Awards and distinctions for teaching activities and teaching evaluations in previous places of employment;
  • Experience in preparing teaching materials;
  • Documented high evaluation of classes by students;
  • Professional/didactic experience gained outside the university;
  • Experience in developing applications of scientific knowledge to social or business practice;
  • Social experience (NGOs, volunteering, etc.).
  • Willingness to work also at weekends;
  • Research interests in the field of social psychology.

Nice to have:

  • Proven experience in teaching social psychology (compulsory, core course);
  • Experience in developing new educational programmes;
  • Experience of delivering academic conferences;
  • Experience of teaching at SWPS University;
  • Teaching competence evidenced by certificates or attestations of completion of courses or other forms of training enhancing qualifications in teaching, training and workshops;
  • Authorship or co-authorship of scientific publications in the field of social psychology;
  • Awards and distinctions for teaching activities and high evaluations of teaching work in previous places of employment;
  • Participation in the implementation of national and international grants (as manager and/or contractor);
  • Awards and prizes for scientific activities;
  • Experience in popularisation of research results.

Eligibility criteria

  • Scientific achievements – 30% of the final assessment
  • Teaching achievements – 60% of the final assessment
  • Organisational and practical achievements – 10% of the final assessment
