Offer Description

  • Conduct surveys (paper-based) with HIV-positive patients at the Wolski Infectious Hospital in Warsaw (availability a minimum of 1 time per week from 9 am to 4 pm for the duration of the study, i.e. January 2025-December 2025)
  • Assist in recruiting HIV-positive patients for the actual online diary study
  • Participate in the development of the final version of the study tools, protocol and study procedures based on the proposal
  • Systematic review of literature related to the topics of the research project
  • Assist in statistical analyses of data collected during the project
  • Participation and support in the preparation of scientific articles, presentations and reports based on the research conducted (co-authorship of at least 1 scientific publication from the results of this project)

  • Completed master’s degree in social sciences
  • Possession of doctoral status
  • The candidate’s academic achievements

  • Achievements resulting from the conduct of scientific research
  • Experience in research work, including in particular work on NCN grants
  • Participation in scientific conferences
  • Obtained awards, scholarships and prizes
  • Competence to carry out research in the project
  • Good knowledge of statistical methods, including the ability to use any statistical package (SPSS and Mplus or R) and willingness to improve these skills (e.g., longitudinal and diary analyses)
  • Past research internships at home and abroad
  • Fluency in English
  • Fluency in Polish
  • Ability to work effectively in a group on common tasks, including responsibility for the results achieved
  • High motivation for scientific work and passion for conducting clinical research, especially among HIV-infected populations
  • Flexibility to adapt to the working hours of other team members
  • Commitment to project work of approximately 40 hours per week (taking into account the responsibilities of pursuing doctoral studies), including willingness to work on weekends

Specific Requirements

  • Experience conducting research in clinical and health psychology is welcome
  • Interest in conducting research in naturalistic settings
  • Willingness to deepen methodological and statistical knowledge

  • A list of publications and conference presentations or a description of research intentions for the doctoral program
  • Copies of diplomas obtained

Formal criteria:

  • The candidate’s scientific achievements, including publications in reputable scientific publications/journals – 50% of the final grade
  • Competence to perform specific tasks in the research project – 30% of the final grade
  • Achievements resulting from scientific research, scholarships, awards

and scientific experience gained at home or abroad, scientific workshops and trainings, participation in research projects – 20% of the final evaluationCompetition Committee:
