TE4060-24-459We are seeking applications for a Research Officer at the University of Brighton within the School of Architecture Technology and Engineering to work in the area of Evolving Machine Learning. The position is available on a fixed term full time (1.0) basis for 24 months.In this role you will be working on a Horizon Europe funded research project , aimed at developing a platform for automated and ethical machine learning. The research is in the area of ethical and evolving machine learning, and the development of ethical and evolving machine learning algorithms in order to publish and disseminate results at top tier venues. As the successful applicant, you should have a background in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or a related field and possess general skills in ethical AI, evolving machine learning techniques and have knowledge of the python programming language.In order to be successful in this role you should have:

  • A relevant degree in Computer Science
  • Strong Knowledge Python programming language
  • Strong knowledge of Machine learning algorithms
  • Understanding of Ethical AI
  • Ability to undertake occasional travel to attend project meetings in EU countries
