Research/Insight ExecutiveAnalyst 112 Month FTC – Leeds or LondonYour teamThe Business Intelligence/Research team are looking for a Research/Insight Executive to join their growing team. Reporting into the Research Manager, the Research Analyst will have several areas of ownership across the BI / Research Team and will work directly with fellow Research Analysts and Research Managers to design, analyse, and report on research projects relating specifically to Paddy Power.You’ll be part of a driven, collaborative, and social team of 18 researchers working across Flutter UKI, while experiencing the benefits that come from being an in-house researcher: building close relationships with stakeholders, seeing action unfold off the back of your recommendations, crafting your industry knowledge and expertise, and maintaining a good work-life balance.What you’ll do

• Acting as the voice of the customer to enable the business to make informed decisions based on customer understanding and insight.
• Being involved in a variety of research projects at all stages, from project and supplier management through to data analysis and reporting. In time, taking the lead on some of these projects.
• Leveraging multiple data sources to deliver practical insight in an engaging way.
• Working closely with key internal business partners to understand, refine and answer their key questions.
• Working closely with other insight/analytic teams in the business to contribute value to research findings.

Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required

• Strong project management skills
• Mathematical or numerate with experience in research or data driven environments.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel (highly desirable)
• Experience of research methodologies and working with (or for) research agencies
• Experience of research tools related to survey scripting and writing.
• Strong analytical and report writing skills.
• Experience of statistical packages – particularly, Q
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Willingness to learn and drive their own personal development.
• A curious and questioning approach
• Proactive mind-set
