Open ended contract – PermanentFull time – 35 hours per week (Part time considered)We are looking for a Research Facilitator to promote best research practices, arrange access to digital research services, and associated training materials and events. The Research Facilitator will provide support and consultancy to researchers from the College of Medicine & Veterinary Medicine in the creation of digital research plans throughout the research life-cycle from pre-award to publication and preservation.This is a permanent role, based in the central campus, and available either as full-time or part-time with a minimum of 0.5 FTE.What the job involves:

• Design and delivery of the uni-wide Digital Research Services Outreach and Skills Development programme
• Support digital research planning and efficient use of services at College level
• Maintain and enhance the digital research service catalogue
• Work in partnership with researchers, staff supporting research and service providers at the University of Edinburgh

£40,247 to £47,874 per annum (pro-rata) (Grade 7)
