CreditSights is looking for Systematic Research Associates to be key members of our specialised team that provide clients with our market-leading credit analysis, alongside supporting our team with high-yield bond research.

This is a great opportunity to be part of building what was a ‘start up enterprise’ with the security of being part of an established, dynamic and well-regarded financial services business. You will be helping to create brand-new, ground-breaking products while getting a unique insight into the way that credit markets work.

Our ideal candidate

• Has an accounting qualification or is a finance/economics/law/data science graduate or related
• Is well organised, interested in financial markets, and keen to shape the role
• Can understand and interpret complex documents, summarising their contents succinctly
• Is skilled in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and has experience of other relevant software packages, such as Python
• Can produce high quality outputs reliant on attention to detail
• Naturally uses technology and are excited to be working at the leading edge of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
• Thrives when faced with challenging timescales
• Is a team player and likes to work collaboratively

Key responsibilities

Support the development of both credit and legal products by:

• Reviewing financial statements and reports
• Reviewing high yield bond documents
• Quality assurance and refinement of data extracted by AI tools
• Researching company financial performance
• Contributing to reports for clients
• Engaging with internal analysts and product specialists.
