Job description

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Bioinformatician to join the Wedge lab, which has a focus on Cancer Evolution and Heterogeneity. One of the key goals of this lab is to improve clinical practice by advancing our understanding of the processes and mechanisms involved in tumour progression. Using pioneering computational methods of DNA sequencing, the Wedge lab aims to generate genomic profiles of sub-populations within each tumour in order to track the evolutionary trajectories within tumours. This post will take a leading role in the analysis of data from high-throughput sequencing experiments, including Whole Genome Sequencing, in head and neck cancer during and after radiotherapy. The research involves the analysis of data from cancer patients and clinical samples.
