About the Role

A Research Administrator is required to support the research strategy of the Blizard Institute. You will be involved in all aspects of the Institute’s Post Graduate Research (PGR) programmes and will also provide support for the Institute’s wider research activity.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in a similar role, experience of working in higher education, and excellent organisational skills.

About the School/Department/Institute/Project

The Blizard Institute was established in 2003 and is one of six Institutes within the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, QMUL. The Institute comprises approximately 360 staff based in four academic Centres and one Public Engagement Centre, and supports a combined total of c700 postgraduate research and taught students. The Institute aims to deliver excellence in all aspects of research, teaching and clinical service.

The post is based at the Whitechapel Campus in London. It is full time (35 hours per week) permanent position, with an expected start date of June 2023. The starting salary will be Grade 4, in the range of £37,348 – £43,592 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
