As a Religious Studies Teacher, you will have the opportunity to educate and inspire students about various religious traditions, beliefs, and practices. • Develop and deliver comprehensive religious studies curriculum, incorporating diverse religious traditions and their historical, cultural, and ethical aspects
• Teach students about the beliefs, rituals, scriptures, and teachings of different religions
• Foster an inclusive and respectful classroom environment that encourages open dialogue and appreciation of diverse religious perspectives
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons, utilising a variety of teaching strategies and resources
• Encourage critical thinking, analytical skills, and ethical reasoning in students’ exploration of religious topics
• Lead class discussions and facilitate respectful debates on religious and ethical issues
• Provide guidance and support to students in their personal spiritual development and exploration of their own beliefs

The Ideal Candidate:

• QTS or relevant teaching experience is preferred
• In-depth knowledge of multiple religious traditions and their historical and cultural contexts
• Strong understanding of religious ethics, philosophies, and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that respects diverse religious beliefs and perspectives
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to students’ intellectual and spiritual growth
