Role of a Religious Studies Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and informative lessons on various world religions, ethics, and moral philosophy.
- Foster a classroom atmosphere of respect, curiosity, and critical thinking.
- Encourage students to explore and understand different religious traditions and their impact on society.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Religious Studies curriculum and participate in school-wide initiatives.
The successful candidate will:
- A degree in Religious Studies, Theology, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Experience in teaching Religious Studies at secondary school level is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for education and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful learning environment.
