You will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons that challenge students’ critical thinking and encourage open-mindedness. You’ll have the chance to teach students from diverse backgrounds, instilling in them a sense of empathy, tolerance, and respect for others’ beliefs.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver captivating lesson plans that align with the National Curriculum and the school’s vision.
  • Foster an inclusive and welcoming classroom environment, where students feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and opinions.
  • Encourage lively discussions and debates that promote a deeper understanding of religious concepts and their relevance in modern society.
  • Provide timely feedback and support to students, helping them achieve their full potential academically and personally.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance the Religious Education department and contribute to the school’s extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • A genuine passion for Religious Education and a strong desire to inspire young minds.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with students from different backgrounds.
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive and respectful learning environment.
