The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Religious Education lessons to students aged 11-16, contributing to the development of the RE curriculum, and inspiring students to explore and understand the world around them.Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging RE lessons.
- Assess, record, and report on the progress and development of students.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in departmental and school-wide activities and initiatives.
- Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
Requirements:
- A fully qualified teacher (QTS) with a degree in Religious Studies or a related subject OR
- Experience teaching RE at the secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Religious Studies.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
