Wolters Kluwer, a global software company, is looking for a Regulatory Functional Consultant to join our FSC line of business.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

  • Keep up to date with latest regulations
  • Follow up regulator publications to understand their impact on clients’ businesses and detect changes / updates required for our applications
  • Perform detailed analysis of regulations to extract business requirements and write functional and business specifications according to your interpretations of regulatory requirements 
  • Articulate the impact of a change of regulation and new version of the OneSumX application to the clients
  • Collate, understand, define and document detailed business requirements for the OneSumX application.

System Analysis

  • Evaluate the impact of new developments on the application and its data model and contribute to the functional design of the application as well as working closely with the technical team to ensure a clear understanding of those requirements

System Implementation

  • Lead data gathering activities with client leading to the creation of an interface matrix.
  • Perform data mapping and create interface matrix showing how client’s data map the OneSumX data structure.
  • Support client UAT and hep troubleshoot issues raised
  • Participate in technical testing following the data migration with the client
  • Deliver training to client trainers and/or client end-users

System Support

  • Help resolving functional issues that cannot be resolved by support teams
  • Use knowledge and technical expertise to advise clients on our standards and/or customized solutions

Project Support

  • Provide summary in writing of an issue identified by the project
  • Deliver input to WK Project Manager regarding all project related items for area of work (planning, progress, deliverables, risk & issues, etc.) and participate in customer status meetings.
  • Write up meeting notes and report following intervention on client site.

Presales

  • Contribute to pre-sales and marketing activities where needed

Other Responsibilities

  • Comply with WK policy and support Project Manager in the billing process
  • Keep up to date with Regulatory solutions and receive adequate training
  • Assist in the development of team processes and procedures to increase efficiency
  • Participate in cross border initiatives working with colleagues from other regions

Education

  • 2+ years working in a client-facing or consulting role or other equivalent experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience

Essential

  • Fluent in French (be able to participate in meetings with clients in French, write reports in French)
  • Ability to travel to France at short notice
  • Working knowledge and expanded conceptual knowledge related to technology implementation

Desirable

  • Accountancy knowledge
  • General understanding of nowadays regulations and their impact on banks
