• As a Regulatory Affairs Officer, you will be responsible for managing the creation, modification, and deletion of regulatory articles, including the development and updating of Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• You will collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate regulatory documentation and make necessary declarations to poison control centers and handle BioCid registrations.
• In addition, you will support the preparation and registration of Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR) files, working closely with the company’s teams to secure and maintain marketing authorizations.
• Your role will involve advising and assisting departments such as Marketing, Sales, R&D, Quality, Production, and Purchasing on the regulatory aspects of biocidal, detergent, and cosmetic products.
• You will also respond to customer requests, manage regulatory monitoring for relevant regulations, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and standards.
• Handling customer complaints, managing internal non-conformities, and potentially leading cross-functional projects will also be part of your remit.
• You may be called upon to contribute to activities related to cosmetics, toxicology, or exports, depending on the evolving needs of the business.

Key Requirements

• The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, with at least 3 to 5 years of experience as an SDS Specialist, ideally within the chemical industry.
• While experience in Biocides, Detergents and Cosmetics is highly desirable, this role offers an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to develop their expertise in this area.
• You should have a thorough understanding of relevant regulations such as CLP and REACh, along with experience in creating and managing SDSs.
• Proficiency in English and experience with safety data sheet design tools like ExESS is essential.
• Strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a meticulous approach to regulatory compliance are crucial for success in this role.
