Our client, a leading company in the crop protection sector, is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and experienced regulatory professional to contribute to high-impact projects in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Our client stands out for its pioneering approach to R&D. As an innovation-driven company, they are committed to delivering high-quality, science-based solutions that meet the growing global demand for sustainable agricultural practices. Their focus on continuous improvement ensures that they remain at the forefront of the crop protection industry, developing products that are not only effective but also contribute to long-term environmental sustainability.

The company’s collaborative culture is a key element of its success. You’ll be part of a supportive, dynamic team where autonomy is valued, and micromanagement is avoided. This means you’ll be contributing to the development and delivery of reliable, high-quality products that farmers trust to protect their crops and support sustainable food production globally.

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Submissions: Manage a portfolio of plant protection products, including Article 34 submissions (data protection and patents) and Article 43 renewals. Prepare, review, and approve regulatory submissions.

Strategic Development: Develop regulatory strategies to support both product registration and renewals. Conduct Data Gap Analyses and collaborate with internal teams and external partners (e.g., task forces) to identify data requirements.

Project Management: Oversee a portfolio 30 to 40 products at any given time, ensuring timelines, budgets, and project goals are met. Monitor progress and address regulatory queries in a timely manner. Report on project status and milestones.

Administrative Tasks: Manage administrative submissions such as formulation changes and new sources of active substances. Collaborate closely with the Formulations Team to ensure seamless execution of regulatory tasks.

Collaboration & Mentorship: Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, regulatory authorities, consultants, CROs, and test facilities. Provide mentorship to junior team members, sharing your expertise and guiding their development.

SME & DRR Involvement: Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on regulatory legislation and guidelines in your assigned territories. Contribute to the preparation of Part A of the Draft Registration Report (DRR) and actively participate in the company’s regulatory strategy.

Key Requirements:

3 to 5 years of regulatory experience in plant protection product registration within the EU.
