Locations: based in the territories of Campania, Puglia or Basilicata.Deadline for applications: April 21st, 2024.About the Role:As a pivotal member of our team, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for achieving Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) and Electrophysiology (EP) Business Goals, working closely with the Rhythm Management Business Unit Manager (BUM) and Electrophysiology National Sales Manager (NSM). You will lead a regional team covering the Campania, Basilicata, and Puglia territories, driving the development and execution of sales strategies for CRM and EP Boston Scientific products. Your responsibilities extend to ensuring market leadership, implementing effective sales tactics, and fostering a high-performing team culture.In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Industry Knowledge: Equipping team members with the latest industry insights, competitor analysis, and product knowledge. You’ll stay abreast of industry trends, collaborating with stakeholders to refine regional strategies and counter competitor tactics.
  • Business Management & Sales Execution: Conducting Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), identifying sales forecast gaps, and devising strategies to bridge them. You’ll recommend promotional programs, ensure effective territory management, and collaborate closely with Marketing to expand territories and support sales initiatives.
  • Market Insight: Understanding the healthcare landscape, including health policies, pricing strategies, and market trends. Your insights will drive strategies to position Boston Scientific favorably against competitors and identify growth opportunities.
  • Building & Maintaining Relationships: Cultivating relationships with major accounts, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and other key stakeholders, leveraging them for business growth. You’ll engage in negotiations, support educational initiatives, and foster collaboration across functional areas.
  • Clinical Excellence: Demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge and collaborating with internal teams on new launches and business strategies.
  • Creative Economic & Value-Added Solutions: Developing relationships with economic buyers, negotiating contracts, and creating bundled product and service offerings to meet customer needs effectively.
  • Quality: Ensuring adherence to quality standards and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
  • People Development: Providing hands-on support to the commercial team, offering feedback, training, and development opportunities. You’ll monitor sales performance, share experiences, and motivate team members to excel.
  • Sales Cloud: Ensuring effective utilization of the company’s CRM system for recording customer information and activities.

What are we looking for in you:

  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the MedTech industry.
  • Qualifications: Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Science, Business, or Nursing.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and in Italian.
  • Previous Med-Tech Experience: Understanding of the Medical Device and Capital Equipment sectors, with knowledge of the local healthcare ecosystem.
  • Technical Knowledge: Ability to foster a collaborative team environment and effectively communicate with impact.
  • Market & Technical Insight: Proficiency in understanding market dynamics, key competitors, and product benefits for different customer segments.
  • Market & Customer Development: Strong business acumen, ability to develop and execute business plans, and effective stakeholder management skills.
  • Enabling Skills: Change management expertise, internal knowledge of organizational strategies, and effective communication skills.
  • People Skills: Proven ability to collaborate internally, work effectively with others, and demonstrate self-management and innovation in achieving results.
