The position

As a Regional Medical Advisor, you are expected to have a solid understanding of scientific data for training purposes and are expected to design, help and/or coordinate educational programmes and workshops. In this role you have a 100
%

field responsibility. The position will report to the Clinical, Medical, Regulatory & Quality Director, with its territory comprising within Croatia. The role demands spending time both in-office as well as in the field.
 

Your responsibilities will include:

-Contributing actively to build, maintain and update scientific knowledge in the therapeutic area with a planned, execution, and disseminating up-to-date medical knowledge using clinical trial data, leveraging scientific and clinical expertise with local and regional physicians. Contributing to the generation of new data relevant to the product/portfolio assigned; and identifying and critically evaluating new data and using the data for effective communication purposes.

-Managing medical activities of the department and developing regional medical advisory services for stakeholders, increasing scientific awareness, and communicating the clinical usefulness of our products, developing short-, medium-, and long-term local and national plans, and collaborating cross-functionally with a customer focus.

-Acting as a scientific ambassador for Novo Nordisk, ensuring that the profile of the company remains high amongst key stakeholders through establishing a peer-to-peer relationship based on scientific rigor and integrity. Supporting Clinical activities as being a local therapeutic area expert. Foresee and proactively address potential scientific challenges and ensure that external communications conform to regulatory laws and directions.
-Engaging in identification and development of relevant publications/content and facilitate new product launches with close cross-functional collaboration.
-Building strong scientific and peer relationships with key stakeholders and identified major institutions within the health care sector to ensure optimal delivery of scientific information to the medical and scientific community. Presenting medical training for various internal and external stakeholders. 
 

Qualifications

-You hold the University Degree in Medical/ Dentistry/ Doctor of Pharmacy / Master of Pharmacy with preferably two or more years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or medical practice.
-Experience working in a pharmaceutical industry and general knowledge on drug development and clinical research is an advantage.
-An in-depth understanding of the role of medical affairs in pharmaceutical industry, medical affairs tools, and activities.
-You have a strong understanding of project management in digital transformation, digital health or other digital field experience. It is also essential that you are up to date with today’s technology.
-Ability to understand and efficiently communicate complicated scientific data and are to work with cross-functional stakeholders.
-Fluent in written and spoken English.
-Strong time management and self-organization skills.
-Ability to take responsibility and work independently with high accuracy
