The role is based in Bucharest, Romania, and reports to the Regional Medical Advisor Manager, and will be supporting the region of South-East of Romania.
The position
As a Regional Medical Adviser, you will be responsible for identifying, contacting, developing and maintaining relations with key customers or influencers and major institutions in the health care sector. In addition, you will be responsible for providing quality medical and scientific support, education and training to the external customers, healthcare professionals, and Novo Nordisk staff (where appropriate). Moreover, you will be responsible for building local credibility personally and on behalf of Novo Nordisk to achieve competitive advantage and market leadership.
Your main accountabilities will be:
-Facilitating development of workshops or symposia or meetings for health care providers on subjects relevant to NN products, and developing and delivering presentations at local meetings, workshops, symposia
-Successfully managing the resolution of medical information questions or issues and provision of response or information
-Providing response to HCP upon unsolicited request for off-label information and ensuring compliance with all requirements, train relevant staff in new solutions value propositions and foster close cross-functional collaboration around relevant activities
-Engaging external stakeholders and seek influence through resonant messages and clear positions, through understanding external environment, patient journey and stakeholders needs identify and pursue novel business solutions
-Analyzing current behaviour, attitudes or perceptions of target group of customers, and ensuring compliance with Novo Nordisk Quality System within her area of responsibility.
Qualifications
As a Regional Medical Adviser you need to have a Medical Degree (MD) or medical related studies (pharmacy, biology, veterinarian, chemistry). In addition, you need to have ideally, minimum of 1 year experience in medical affairs department.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
-Demonstrated experience in KOLs, HCPs or medical community engage
-Excellent medical communication skills and understanding of different therapy areas and phases of the product lifecycle
-Fluency in English
