About the Role
As a growing organization, demand on our recruitment resources continues to grow. The current recruitment function requires clear structure and additional capacity to ensure that we can continue to meet the needs of the business. To be able to execute on business expectations, the management of the pipeline of recruitment activity needs to be more effective. The Recruitment Program Manager, will:
- Formalize the recruitment function into a single, dedicated function
- Manage the day-to-day operations from a functional perspective
- Regularly evaluate and evolve processes, recommending process improvements to improve efficiency
- Effectively report on recruitment performance to allow us to measure ourselves and course correct
- Focus on effectively building an internal talent pipeline through a formalized trainee program
Under the leadership and direction of the Director, HR, they will be accountable for defining requirements and managing people, process, data in order to accomplish this.
Your Responsibilities
Overall
- Lead the recruitment team ensuring workload is fairly distributed amongst the team
- Working closely with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and create a recruitment calendar to understand what positions are in the pipeline
- Lead recruitment for all trainee and all positions above Senior Manager
- Collaborating with other members of the HR team to ensure a positive candidate experience
- Responsible for intake and act as first point of contact
Trainee Program
- Partner with business leaders to understand specific needs for trainees in each organizational area
- Work with Magna IT’s Global Talent Acquisition team to build relationships with local technology schools – identifying opportunities to increase Magna IT brand awareness
- Promote the trainee program throughout the organization and partner with Division/Group IT Managers to expand rotations to provide divisional experience
- Work with trainees and managers to create individual development plans
- Monitor trainee progression throughout the organization to ensure a positive learning experience is created and delivered to all trainees
- Further develop a trainee community with Magna IT where trainees can share experiences and build their own internal network
- Build a network of Trainee Program Champions within the management level to support the program
Reporting & Analytics
- Provide regular updates to hiring managers on the status of recruitment activities.
- Deliver meaningful reporting on recruitment activity key metrics – and create action plan for future improvements
- Manage trainee program budget
- Work with finance to manage budgeted positions list
Continuous Improvement
- Educate managers on recruitment processes and best practices, and mentors on their role in supporting and developing trainee as an essential part of their jobs
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to ensure that recruitment function continues to mature
Who we are looking for
- 7-10 years of experience in a Talent Acquisition role, preferably within Magna
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
Your preferred qualifications
- Ability to effectively manage a service team, working together to develop and execute on continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience developing trainee programs and working with/mentoring new trainees
- Understanding of the Magna IT organization and its operations
- Ability to develop effective and strong working relationships with employees at all levels and across all teams globally
- Experience working with external partners to build relationships

Site Benefits
The annual remuneration package for this position is a minimum of EUR 75.000,- with corresponding qualification. We offer attractive benefits (e.g. discretionary performance bonus) and a salary which is in line with market conditions depending on your skills and experience.
