  • Preparation of nanostructures and magnetic layered systems using physical vapor deposition methods (mainly using magnetron sputtering and laser ablation);
  • Fabrication of magnetic structures using lithographic techniques;
  • Conducting research on the magnetic properties of fabricated structures, in particular using magneto-optical techniques;
  • Optimization of thin film patterning processes, especially using ion beams;
  • Analysis of the results and contribution to the preparation of publications.

Salary: approximately 6840 PLN gross per month (approximately six thousand eight hundred and forty).Eligibility criteriaQualification criteria:
1) Scientific achievements in the field of experimental research on magnetic thin films;
2) Knowledge of experimental methods for magnetic materials, especially for magnetic thin films;
3) Knowledge of the thin film deposition techniques and their magnetic patterning.Selection processQualification process:

Candidate ratings will be done by the Competition Commission appointed by the Director. A candidate with a negative opinion may appeal against the results of the evaluation to the Director within 7 days from the date of receipt of the Competition Committee’s opinion.
Expected date of the results announcement: November 2024.
