Our client, a leading recruitment agency within the education sector, is looking for a talented Recruitment Consultant to join their team, specializing in the SEN (Special Educational Needs) sector. If you’re passionate about supporting schools with the best talent for temporary SEN roles, this opportunity could be for you!About the Role:As a Recruitment Consultant for SEN education, you will be responsible for placing temporary teachers and support staff in SEN schools and units, ensuring that vulnerable students receive the specialist care and teaching they need. You’ll be working in a highly rewarding and fast-paced environment, managing the full recruitment cycle.Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and building a strong pipeline of SEN teachers, teaching assistants, and support staff for temporary assignments.
  • Developing close relationships with SEN schools and provisions, understanding their unique staffing needs.
  • Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from candidate sourcing and compliance to placement and aftercare.
  • Ensuring all candidates meet compliance and safeguarding standards specific to SEN environments.
  • Providing ongoing support to candidates and schools to ensure successful placements and strong partnerships.
  • Meeting and exceeding monthly placement and business development targets.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in recruitment, ideally within the education or SEN sector, or in high-volume temporary recruitment.
  • A passion for working within the SEN sector and understanding the unique challenges faced by SEN schools.
  • Strong business development skills with a proven ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
  • Familiarity with safeguarding and compliance requirements in education (SEN experience is a plus).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and resilient approach to challenges.
