Are you an experienced recruiter looking for your next challenge in the education sector? Our client, a leading education recruitment agency, is seeking an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join their growing team, specialising in placing temporary staff within the primary education sector.About the Role:As a Recruitment Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring that schools across your region are well-staffed with high-quality educators. This is a fast-paced, highly rewarding role that involves managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, from candidate sourcing to placement.Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage a candidate pipeline of talented teachers and support staff for temporary roles in primary schools
  • Develop strong relationships with schools, understanding their staffing needs and providing bespoke recruitment solutions
  • Proactively source, interview, and place candidates in short- and long-term temporary positions
  • Manage compliance checks, ensuring all candidates meet safeguarding and regulatory requirements
  • Hit and exceed weekly and monthly targets related to placements and business development
  • Provide ongoing support to both candidates and schools, ensuring successful placements and long-term relationships

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in recruitment, ideally within the education sector or high-volume temporary recruitment
  • Strong business development skills with a track record of building client relationships
  • Ability to work in a target-driven environment with a focus on exceeding goals
  • Knowledge of compliance within the education sector, including safeguarding regulations (preferred but not essential)
  • A confident, driven personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, staying organised and proactive in a fast-paced environment
