Summary You will serve as a Recreation Assistant in the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department of NAVSUPPACT NAPLES. Responsibilities You will lead classes and command fitness training. You will use program policies and procedures in planning the activities of a recreation program for a military community. You will answer questions regarding classes, specials events, and programs. You will coordinate with the Fitness Director and assist with developing educational materials for patrons. You will implement new training materials into the fitness programs. You will be responsible for the upkeep of client records, health risk, forms, and utilization records. You will instruct others on usage of fitness equipment. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing group fitness instruction; 2) Promoting participation in fitness activities and a healthy lifestyle to have a positive impact on overall health.
