We are looking for a Product Expert Specialist based in Meulan from October 24 to February 25 (replacement of a maternity leave)

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE

● Lead technical product developments proactively or based on customer demand and ensure best in class product solutions.

● Liaise with other functional and operational area managers such as production, QA, sourcing and/or OSCO to deliver or find solutions for

product developments and/or product issues.

● Define requirements and specifications for new products, new raw materials and new packaging and evaluate all aspects going into a new

product launch.

● Act as a sparring partner to Customer R&D for all customer & product requests.

● Ensure excellence in execution by ensuring a timely delivery and outstanding speed to market in collaboration with Customer R&D.

● Check and confirm feasibility of product transfers by acting as the interface between the different functions involved.

● Maintain a good knowledge of regulatory requirements for your area of expertise.

● Strive for product excellence, packaging & raw material knowledge.

● Manage your product portfolio effectively and efficiently.

● Act as the heart of the R&D department by consolidating and sharing in depth product knowledge, gained internally or through customer

interaction with the whole R&D community as well as with our customers.

● Contact Customer to Ensure Understanding and Ask for Further Details on the Request

● Receive Requests from Customers to Create a New or Modify an Existing Solution

● Define Application Types Conform Customer’s Specs

● Search for a Match within the Current Solution Portfolio, e.g. Compare Request with E-Catalogue, Recipe book

● Provide Physical or Remotely Assistance to Industrial Trials at Customers for new products

CANDIDATE PROFILE

● Master Degree in Science/Engineering or similar, preferably in a food science discipline.

● 2-3 years of experience in R&D

● Experience in Project Management

● Good knowledge of working tools (MS Office, SAP,…)

● Fluent Business English

● Excellent analytical skills

● Creative thinker & solutions provider

● Team player
